Heathergems are a uniquely Scottish range both in design and manufacture. The coloured parts of the Heathergems are made from the stems from heather that are cut, dried, dyed, compressed, then cut into shapes before being varnished and added to Sterling silver and pewter jewellery. The way the gems are made means that each piece is unique in colour.

This brooch is made of pewter with a Celtic design and a striking Heathergem set in the middle.

This brooch is even lovelier in the flesh than it looks on the website. Very good value for money.
