About VAT
Value added tax (VAT) is a sales tax levied on the sale of goods and services.
The current rate of VAT is 20%.
In some countries, including Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and Canada, this tax is known as "goods and services tax" or GST.
Value added tax (VAT) is charged on nearly all goods sold by ourselves when delivered to addresses within the UK and the European Union (EU). VAT is not charged on items such as food and childrens clothing.
Orders sent outside EU: In accordance with UK and EU law, we package our items securely to minimise damage and attach official customs labels filled out correctly to comply with the law. We will not, under any circumstances alter a customs slip or fill it out incorrectly to avoid the payment of any taxes.
Orders sent to the Channel Islands: Please see our note for The Channel Islands.
Our VAT registration no is: 47 0813 942
If you are a VAT registered business, the VAT can be removed form the price. This applies to businesses in the UK and EU as well as certain other countries where a reciprocal arrangement exists in your own country. Business owners outside the EU should check with their local tax office to determine their status. To apply for the VAT to be removed from your order please Contact Us.
