Thomas Joseph is a ‘real person’ named Thomas Joseph Stephenson and lives in Carrickfergus on the shore of Belfast Lough. He enjoys painting many subjects including landscapes and people, however his specialist area lies in painting comical sheep. Thomas has built up a fan base that spans the globe. He uses a country primitive style, with simple lines, bright colours and a knack for understated humour to bring his characters to life. The rural countryside of Carrickfergus is the inspiration behind his popular collection which is available in a wide range of specialty gift products.
